Trainee Production / Rigger Worker

At SWR we have a select number of cultural values. One of these is to provide an environment which values Training. We believe that everyone has the capacity to learn and grow. From first-class customer service training to technical training and soft skills development, you can look forward to a wealth of learning opportunities that will equip you with the skills and confidence to be the best you can be. The key is that you are in control of – and accountable for – your own development. We’ll provide all the tools and support you need to progress. It is your responsibility to grasp that opportunity. You must be highly self-motivated, willing to push yourself and continuously open to learning new things. No one can fulfil your potential but you. Our aim is to provide long-term, satisfying careers that will benefit both SWR and its employees; we believe the following training offers that mutual opportunity.

  • Whilst producing you will be learning to produce a wide range of wire rope related products to a high degree of accuracy.
  • You will receive LEEA (Lifting Equipment & Engineering Association) training to understand the importance and standards required to complete your work.
  • You will learn SWR’s stock routines and be expected to participate in accurate stock takes.
  • You will learn to cut/drill and polish stainless steel handrail systems.
